Electric vehicles are becoming a regular sight in our XPEL Boise, Idaho, installation center. Of course, we are no strangers to Tesla and Rivian vehicles, but this is the first BMW i4 M50 we’ve treated with PPF. This BMW i4 electric sedan left our shop wearing full STEALTH ™ PPF topped off with FUSION PLUS ™ ceramic coating on its paint, glass, and wheels. In addition, the BMW’s glass was treated with PRIME XR PLUS ™ window tint.
The BMW’s gloss paintwork now wears a satin sheen finish thanks to STEALTH PPF. It offers the same paint protection as the leading ULTIMATE PLUS PPF but with a matte finish. With STEALTH, the BMW i4 M50 is protected against paint damage while sporting a new look.
After the PPF was applied, the exterior of the i4 M50 was treated with FUSION PLUS ceramic coating. In addition, the car’s wheel faces received ceramic coating. As a result, the wheels will be better resistant to brake dust and weather elements sticking to the alloy, making them easier to clean.
PRIME XR Plus window tint is designed to protect interiors against 99 percent of harmful UV rays. Moreover, XPEL tint helps increase interior comfort by deflecting 98 percent of infrared heat. Besides giving a vehicle an enhanced look, the dark tint does not affect outward visibility inside the vehicle.
XPEL ceramic coating‘s hydrophobic properties make it difficult for elements like rain and mud to slide off. Moreover, when it comes time for a car wash, the ceramic coating reduces the need for scrubbing and elbow grease. Instead, pollutants and grime wash off without removing the high gloss shine. For the wheels, FUSION PLUS helps prevent iron buildup caused by brake dust from sticking to the rim. XPEL ceramic coating will help make washing the car a total breeze without washing away its shine.
